Tomorrow, Thursday 8 October 20206, the Democratic Alliance (DA) Gauteng will conduct an oversight inspection at the Midrand and Waterfall Office Park Licensing Departments. This follows numerous complaints received from residents that the licensing departments are closed due to a lack of paper. This affects motorists who want to renew their driving licenses or apply for an operating license.
The oversight inspection will be led by the DA Gauteng Shadow MEC for Roads and Logistics, Evert Du Plessis MPL, along with Ward 132 Midrand Councillor, Cllr Annette Deppe and Ward 92 DA Councillor Candidate, Thami Mbatha.
The media is invited to the oversight inspection; there will be an opportunity for interviews and photographs.
