The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Gauteng wishes all matric learners across the province the best as they commence their final matric examinations.
This marks the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance for thousands of learners. Despite ongoing challenges in Gauteng schools, including infrastructure delays, overcrowded classrooms, and disruptions to nutrition, these learners have not buckled under pressure but have remained steadfast in their search for achieving academic excellence.
The DA also extends its appreciation to educators, parents, and support staff who have played an important role in preparing learners for this milestone. Their continued guidance and support during this period will assist learners in coping with the pressures of exams.
We call on the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) to ensure that all examination centres are adequately resourced, well-prepared, and properly secured. Furthermore, we urge the GDE to implement all necessary measures to prevent any disruptions or leaks of examination papers.
The DA extends its best wishes to the Class of 2025 as they begin their final examinations. We encourage all learners to stay focused, believe in themselves, and trust that their hard work and preparation will lead to success and open doors to the next chapter of their academic journey.
