Tomorrow, Thursday, 26 October 2023, the Democratic Alliance (DA) Shadow MEC for Education, Khume Ramulifho MPL, will conduct an oversight inspection at Ahanang Primary School in Lenasia, Johannesburg.
The DA will assess the state of the school infrastructure and ascertain whether the environment is conducive to learning and teaching.
We will also engage with the School Governing Body (SGB) and the school management following reports that they are fighting over the appointment of suppliers. The tension between these two parties has a negative effect on the functioning of the school.
Members of the media are invited, and there will be an opportunity for interviews and photographs.
