Tomorrow, 20 September, the Democratic Alliance (DA) in Emfuleni will hold a march against the persistent water outages distressing the community lead by Kingsol Chabalala MPL.
Residents who have been left without water for weeks are in the midst of a humanitarian crisis. A crisis of local government’s own making, that they do not care to address.
The DA has called for urgent intervention from the municipality and Rand Water. It is unacceptable that the people of Emfuleni and Gauteng continue to struggle with basic service delivery.
