Today, the Democratic Alliance (DA) announced Mokete Motsamai as our Lesedi Local Municipality Mayoral Candidate.

Mokete is an exemplary public representative who currently serves as Member of the Mayoral Committee in the neighbouring Midvaal Municipality on the portfolio of Corporate Services.
Midvaal is Gauteng’s premier municipality. Just yesterday, they welcomed a R2 billion investment into the local economy. Business invests where services are guaranteed.
The DA is ready, and believes that Mokete Motsamai, a long-time resident of the region, is the leader that Lesedi Local Municipality needs. He is the leader that will return basic service delivery, make Lesedi viable for business again, and return this municipality to a place its residents are proud to call home.
We are proud to put Mokete forward as a candidate, and we look forward to his election come the local government election.
