Tomorrow, 21 October 2024, members from the Democratic Alliance (DA) in Emfuleni, will picket outside Premier Panyaza Lesufi’s office in Johannesburg.
Premier Lesufi made quite the fanfare during his election campaign, promising amongst other things new transformers, and repairs to faulty transformers to the residents of Emfuleni by March 2024.
It goes without saying that these promises were not fulfilled. Solly Msimanga MPL, Leader of the DA in Gauteng and Kingsol Chabalala MPL, DA Emfuleni North Constituency Head, will be in attendance.
The people are tired of being lied to.
