The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Gauteng congratulates the newly elected Cllr Gerald Goslin on his victory in the Ekurhuleni Ward 23 by-election. Goslin has won the by-election with 96.44% of the vote.
It is clear that residents in Ward 23, not only have faith in their newly elected Councillor, but also in the DA. While Ekurhuleni grapples with the impact of an ineffective executive, residents in Ward 23 have given a resounding “No” to the ANC and the EFF.
Compared to previous years, the DA’s vote in Ward 23 grew as follows:
– From 84.96% to 96.44%
We are certain that Gerald will make an excellent addition to the DA Ekurhuleni Caucus, while serving the people of Ward 23 with the same vigour and enthusiasm he has run his election campaign.
