Today, Wednesday, 27 September 2023, the Democratic Alliance (DA) Spokesperson for Health, Nicola Du Plessis MPL, and the DA City of Johannesburg PR Councillor, Cllr Vasco Da Gama, will conduct a follow-up oversight inspection at Kliptown Clinic.
The DA will assess whether the clinic has been provided with a backup generator to ensure that access to health care services is not interrupted during load-shedding.
We will also assess the progress of maintaining the clinic’s infrastructure to ensure it is conducive to delivering adequate healthcare services.
The DA will engage with clinic management and residents to ascertain the challenges faced when accessing health care services at this clinic.
